With the conclusion of the Quake 4 Qualifiers last week at the Leipzig Games Convention, KODE5 announces the launch of its final regional event of the year, the KODE5 India. Players of Counter-Strike 1.6 and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne are invited to battle for the right to represent India at the KODE5 Global Finals at the end of September.

Held in association with Jasubhai Digital Media, India's leading technology media company, and covered by SKOAR! Magazine, the country's #1 videogame magazine, the event will take place from September 9th to September 10th at Diginet Digital Experience Zone DoubleClix, one of India's most well-equipped Internet caf?s, and is open to gamers of all skill levels. The only condition that must be met in order to participate is being present.

"India represents an exciting new frontier for competitive gaming," said KODE5 "Revolutionary-in-Command" Lester Lau. "By working with India's largest IT media group and India's #1 PC gaming magazine, KODE5 India will spread the Global Gaming Revolution to this exciting new region at a rapid pace."

Supported globally by Foxconn, Corsair Memory, and Razer, and supported regionally by many others, the KODE5 "Global Gaming Revolution" takes competitive gaming to an international stage with events being held in more than 20 countries worldwide. The organizers are confident that the KODE5 Global Finals will bring gaming to the center stage like no other gaming event, "taking competitive gaming to another level and gaining the respect that gaming deserves". Now that's what I call enthusiasm!
