Microsoft will launch its next generation console in December, but the Japanese don't seem to be very interested in the new device developed by the Redmond company.

In fact, since the launching date, which took place just before E3 Expo, up until the confirmation of the official launching date, Microsoft has been putting lot of effort into convincing the Japanese gaming producers to switch to Xbox 360's side.

The company's efforts seem to finally pay off, because, if we are to believe Famitsu Weekly, the number of Japanese who are interested in Xbox 360 has increased from 6% to 22%. This spectacular boost is the result of the Tokyo Games Show.

Microsoft has organized demonstrations with games like "Chromehounds", "Ridge Racer 6", "Ninety Nine Nights" and "Enchant Arm", which are very popular titles in Japan.

Xbox 360 has even succeeded to grab some titles from Sony, such as "Resident Evil", "Armored Core", "Gundam" and "Bomberman".

Play Station 3 will be launched in next year's spring and rumors say that the first country where the console will be on the shelves is Japan. In conclusion, Microsoft has only a few months to win the hearts of the Japanese gamers.
