The Moflow Pressurized Hydration System

Keeping oneself hydrated is an extremely important issue, especially when going on some adventure trek. However, the plastic bottle is rather old and "antiquated", and this is the reason why an increasingly higher number of manufacturers are trying to come up with new and advanced hydration devices, much like the one you're about to see as follows, namely the Moflow Pressurized Hydration System, developed by the people over at Polarpak.

The system comes with an air pump and is made with 100% antimicrobial film (reservoir, hose, couplers, bite valve and screw cap) and hardware by Microban. And the Polarpak company representatives are quite glad about this agreement: "We are very fortunate to have an agreement with Microban. Their brand is your assurance of continuous, durable and effective antimicrobial protection that will provide an added level of defense against damaging microbes for the useful lifetime of this product," said Jeff Skillern, president and founder of Polarpak.

Furthermore, it sports two quick release couplers with shut off valve, while the bite valve can rotate at 360 degrees, at a 90-degree angle. The device is also pretty easy to use, since all the user has to do is to disconnect the bite valve from the quick release coupler at hose end, attach the hose pump and pressurize, as well as re-attach bite valve and go with the flow.

However, the range of uses of the Moflow is virtually endless, since, when camping, it can also be used for washing up, cleaning one's gear, and even as a backcountry shower and pillow. And if you were wondering just how it can be used as a shower, you should know that this thing can store quite a hefty amount of water, around 2 liters (70 ounces) in the Polarpak reservoirs, which measure around 17.15 cm x 38.6 cm.

The Moflow Pressurized Hydration System retails for around $32 US dollars, which is not that high a price to pay, taking into consideration just how useful this thing could prove to be, especially for adventurers and thrill-seekers.
