The alliance of indie video game developers have launched their latest offering which features four titles from well known developer Introversion, with two extra games thrown in for those who are willing to pay above the average price.

The Humble Introversion Bundle includes: Darwinia, Uplink, DEFCON and Multiwinia and the extra games are Crayon Physics Deluxe and Aquaria.

Introversion is also offering two tech demos for those who are interested in what the company might do next, one linked to Subversion, the project they worked on for the last few years that is now on hold, and a Voxel Tech demo, which can only be run on Windows machines.

The games included in the bundle cost separately about 70 dollars (51.9 Euro) but the Humble Bundle allows anyone to choose their own price, with the average now sitting just above 3.8 dollars (2.82 Euro) although those who are buying on the Mac and Linux seem to be ready to part with more money in order to get the games.

A quick look at the statistics shows that one buyer was willing to part with more than 1,000 dollars (over 742 Euro) for the Introversion themed bundle, with another set of users also choosing to pay about 500 dollars (371 Euro).

All the titles are delivered free of any sort of Digital Right Management measure and more than 76,000 people have already picked the bundle up, with interested gamers offered another two weeks to decide whether they want this bundle.

Anyone who pays can also choose how he wants to split the money, with sliders that more of the pie to be directed to the developers or to charities like Child's Play or the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

The Humble Indie Bundle concept is designed to create more exposure for the best independent games and create an extra revenue source for developers.
