The Humble Bundle is hosting a huge spring sale, with hundreds of discounts to many popular titles, running until May 21.

Among the highlights are indie horror hit Outlast, and two incarnations of fencing simulators, a pixelated, retro one, Nidhogg, and a more modern iteration of tactical swordfighting sim, Blade Symphony (currently in Early Access).

For those who prefer to eschew swordfighting altogether, there's Thief, the re-invented cult classic, as well as Batman: Arkham Origins, offering two different ways to navigate a city full of baddies.

Those who want a more engaging, story-driven adventure, will be pleased to find that the very solid fantasy / cyberpunk role-playing games Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun: Dragonfall are both taken down a notch.

Even more enticing, if you prefer to focus completely on the story instead of the gunplay, Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Season 1 and Season 2 are both offered at a considerable discount, along with The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC pack.

Legendary Kickstarter hit Broken Age is also part of the offer, an engrossing coming of age adventure title that explores the lives of two very different characters who both struggle with the world's expectations and their own wishes.

More of a fan of action platforming? No problem, Frozenbyte's Trine is one of the best, a physics-based game where you get to fight countless enemies by taking on the role of a Knight, Thief or Wizard, with a host of challenges and puzzles to wrap your head around.

Hardly enough? Fine, the gorgeously hand-drawn Dust: An Elysian Tail offers an even more hectic two-dimensional hack-and-slash experience, complete with a storyline that explores a mystical world and uncovers the secrets of an ancient civilization on the brink of extinction.

Additionally, Sonic Hits Collection bundles together 17 different Sonic games, from the timeless classics to the most recent ones, including Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, compiled in one single package of awesomeness.

If you're more into multiplayer, Matt Makes Games' brilliant TowerFall Ascension, the enhanced version of the hit pixelated archery combat game inspired by the golden days of couch-based multiplayer is also on the list, as well as the quirky Octodad: Dadliest Catch.

The classics are not forgotten, and have a top-notch presence in the spring sale list, with games such as System Shock and Age of Empires 2 & 3 and Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition luring gamers in.

To round things off, the sale also features a ton of great indie games such as the acclaimed and award-winning Papers, Please, alongside Rogue Legacy, Godus, FTL, Prison Architect, Hotline Miami or Sir, You Are Being Hunted.
