After releasing a projector that is based on the patented A/V mute slide function, Epson launches what is said to be the world's first USB Plug in Play projector which is a lightweight one, featuring only 1, 7 kg and a small size of 273 x 193 mm. The EMP-1715 is also a wireless multimedia projector that delivers an impressive 2700 ANSI lumen lamp brightness and can be hooked up with both PCs and Macs.

If you choose this projector, you will also benefit from a multi screen display function which offers almost all the info coming from the PCs. "Other features include: 5 second quick startup and instant off, AV mute slide and a new WPA-EAP enterprise mode. The projector can also be hooked up with iPods or thumb drives via the USB ports. The projector is also capable of displaying videos with smooth full size picture and sound as it uses MPEG2 compression format," informs Mobile Whack.

But the previous EMP-S4 comes with more features, as it is able to eliminate all the light and also to reduce fan noise when functioning is temporarily suspended, being, in fact, a portable projector based on the 3LCD technology which creates sharper and clearer images.

But the images benefit also from another special developed feature - the E-TORL (Epson-Twin Optimize Reflection Lamp) technology, which enhances lamp brilliance by reducing light outflowing and diffraction.

"The new projector integrates features which allow users to rapidly set-up, quickly stop or resume a presentation, and shut down the machine immediately with minimal intervention. Its excellent visual display quality also means the EPSON EMP-S4 is versatile enough for users looking for a projector to complement home entertainment needs. The EPSON EMP-S4's exciting features offer greater convenience and enhanced productivity at an affordable pricing, making it the perfect projection system for the modern business and home user," stated Kent Lew, Manager for Visual Instruments at Epson Singapore.
