The price for the Six Axis controller is said to be around 5,000 yen (US$ 40), and will go on sale starting with November 1. Regional pricing may differ due to direct currency conversion. The new controller will be wireless and will have motion sensing capabilities.

The next peripheral accessory that was announced was the PS1/PS2 memory card adapter, which will have a retail price around 1,500 yen. The adapter is meant to read data from PS1 and PS2 memory cards.

The final peripheral announced by Sony is the remote control, a device meant for people who want to use the PlayStation 3 as a Blu-Ray player. The retail price for the remote control will be around 3,600 yen starting with December 7.

All the peripheral accessories presented today will have a built-in Lithium Ion battery and the possibility to be recharged, via an USD port. Sony did not reveal information whether or not an USD cable will be included with each controller.
