The name of the first official clip from the much anticipated “Hercules” starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is called “It's a trap” and it shows our hero taking on an entire army of painted men that lay an ambush just to kill him.

But this is a mere trifle for the man who slew the Hydra and other mythical creatures along the way, making the ancient world much safer for decent men. With a threatening shout that displays his pearly whites (apparently, Hercules is very big on oral hygiene), the hero leaps into combat.

Sadly, the rest of the battle will be shown on the big screen once the movie hits theaters. The film is directed by Brett Ratner and is based on the comic book series “Hercules: The Thracian Wars,” which focuses on the hero's life after his famous 12 Labors have been completed and he has achieved godly status.

Hercules is now disillusioned with life in general and wanders the earth acting as a sword for hire. This lands him straight into the Thracian wars, which turn out to be a bit more than a handful, even for a demi-god.

The final lines of this story should be about how awesome The Rock looks with a lion's head on his own head. Oddly, it's not threatening at all, but rather entertaining.
