It is good too see that the latest scandal involving Mass Effect and Fox News didn't have a negative impact on the Xbox exclusive and we will get the first downloadable content pack for the blockbuster on the 10th of March this year. Over 1.6 million gamers will be happy to hear that "Bring Down the Sky" will be released to Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 MS points (about $5).

The even better news is that this is just the first DLC pack and more are expected to be constantly released, in order to further expand the Mass Effect universe and the adventure of Commander Shepard and his crew of the Normandy. Bring Down the Sky will include a new world that will introduce the feared alien race of the Batarians. A Batarian extremist group has hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. Of course, the only person who can save the day is Commander Shepard, and he will do it in approximately 90 minutes of new gameplay. Also, a 50 gamescore points-worth achievement has been introduced for the achievement hunters.

BioWare's Mass Effect is a sci-fi role playing game (RPG) that allows players to uncover the greatest threats to human civilization, as the first space voyagers. You will have to travel across an expansive universe and piece together a mystery nobody wants to believe: the universe as we know it is about to come to a violent and abrupt end and you are the only person able to stop it.

The game provides some great RPG action, as well as photo-realistic, high-definition graphics and very "alive" characters. And starting the 10th of March, everything will get to be even better, with the release of the "Bring Down the Sky" downloadable content pack.
