Finally, some good news from the set of the action movie franchise that has seen its seventh installment almost buried by the death of one of the main actors, Paul Walker. Despite the fact that it was speculated for a long time that the studio was pulling the plug on the film after Walker died, the production team found a way to work around his tragic demise.

Today, the news via The Hollywood Reporter is that things are going so well that the production team has decided to push the release date for the movie forward by one week. So, the movie is going to come out in theaters on April 2, 2015, instead of April 10, 2015.

The movie was originally supposed to come out on July 11, 2014, but since Walker passed away, the team struggled to complete the film by casting his brothers to replace him on screen and by making use of state-of-the-art CGI to work the late actor's face on film.

Specialists in cinematography believe that this move is designed to put the film in the same week with another blockbuster that has a totally different audience, and thus ensure that “Fast & Furious 7” is going to hit it big at the box office.

It's also because the first week of April is slowly becoming a very profitable time to release a movie for a number of reasons. It's proved very lucrative for past movies in the same franchise, and it looks like the producers are sticking to the things they know work.
