14 DAY TRIAL // This casual game or, as they call them recently, "time management games", is the perfect choice for girls who like all the glamor of the fashion world, as well as for younger lands who develop tents "there" when they see some semi-naked, virtual, cartoonish teens. For everybody else, it could be an interesting way of spending your time.
Fashion Boutique allows its players to manage several clothing stores on the East Coast, but the West Coasters come in, destroy everything and spray graffiti on every wall: "W3st C0ast rulz!"... No, of course that's not this game is about, I just got a little too carried away. So let's start it over.
The game does allow you to manage several clothing stores on the East Coast, but nothing of a violent nature will ever emerge. Instead, you will have to ensure your stores will get worldwide praise and, most important, financial success. You will prove your skills gradually, playing 10 stages in each of the 5 stores (a little math would tell us that there will be 50 levels) and handling 12 challenging customer types - you probably know the concept already from Dinner Dash.
Unlike Dinner Dash, you will earn new garments for your wardrobe throughout the game and you can use these to dress up your main character as you see fit. Also, at several intervals in the game you will be presented with a "Dress-up" mini game that comes either as a time challenge or a free play mode. But no need to worry, it will be nothing to give you a headache.
Unlike the other games similar to Fashion Boutique, here you will have the possibility to try and convince your customers to buy something you want to sell - and this really makes the game more exciting and fun. You can also flirt with men and compliment the ladies to make them enjoy the stay in your fashion boutique and you will also have a tiny RPG element - you will have to chose how to spend the weekends, and your choices will influence your attributes. So, after all, the key to success is in your pocket.
