The Clock ding dongs every hour

Believe it or not, what you see is not an UFO, it's a clock! One with a futuristic design, which seems like taken from another planet. In fact, the concept idea belongs to Doug Clark, Wayne Husted and Barry Gamble, which even claimed that their quartz crystal chime clocks could come in gold and silver versions, with the possibility of being engraved.

The basic idea is that the Audocron clock was especially created to "tell" you the time by means of a nice soothing chime every hour and a gentle - or rather annoying - "ding dong" every half an hour.

The smart clock emits a soft band of light, which reminds me again of little green fellows. The manufacturers claim that "the clock's charm is hard to define". I would say it is rather incomprehensible why anyone would prefer being waken up by a ding-dong? even if softer, it is still a ding dong.

The casing seems to be durable and resistant. It gets easily activated with a single touch and requires no effort whatsoever to understand its mechanism. Or does it?

You only need 3 AAA batteries, which give the clock a 7 to 8 months life chance, and a lot of patience to set the time. There are three different pitches: one for the hour, one for seconds and the other for the minutes. The wacky clock can be automatically and, of course, optionally chimed on the hour and half hour with the correct time.

If you need to know the time, "anytime", you can easily find the clock by using your touch senses. While it chimes, the LED lighted-UFO-like-circumference starts a gentle pulsation to the chime.

The Audocron Audible Tone clock features a comfortable size of 5" in diameter at the top, and 4" tall. I don't have to remind you the chrome plated metal design.

The price tag suggests just what a nice gift this will be for any of your beloved ones. It is interesting, it is useful, but mostly, it is cheap: only $25 a pop!
