The famous ‘80s band Eurythmics will be reuniting for a special Beatles tribute show, in what is set to be a star-studded event on February 9. The event is organized by the Grammys and is called “The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles.”

The event is set to mark exactly 50 years since the Beatles made their debut on the American stage by performing on the Ed Sullivan show. Apart from the Eurythmics, John Mayer, Keith Urban, Alicia Keys, John Legend, and Maroon 5 will also performing on the night of the concert.

The two band members, singer Annie Lennox and instrumentalist Dave Stuart, have not shared a stage since 2006. As a band, the Eurythmics went on to enjoy great success in the 1980s with songs such as “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” or “Must be Talking to an Angel.”

They first broke up in 1990 but reformed as a band towards the end of that decade to record their ninth studio album. They came together again briefly in 2005 in order to release the single “I've Got a Life” as part of a compilation album.

The two musicians have enjoyed success in the band, but also with their own projects.
