Rubber band fights were every kid's childhood pleasure, even if it hurt like hell, you could not refrain yourself from joining the game.

An upgrade to the improvised rubber band thrower of our childhood was released in the shape of an epic Machine Gun able to fire 672 rubber bands up to 26 feet (8 meters) with 14 shots a second. It has 16 barrels and it can inflict so much pain on a human target that child use is obviously out of the question.

The gun's source of power are five AA batteries and to make the attack even more epic, it can be loaded with ammunition in a matter of seconds. It's made out of plywood and it comes in three colors: original birch, burnt wood and black.

Alex Shpetniy, the 18-year-old that designed the amazing, yet slightly dangerous “toy” was inspired by one of the world's first rapid fire weapon, the mighty Gatling gun. It took him almost one year to develop the project and is currently funding it with Kickstarter.

The Rubber Bands Machine Gun will be soon available for purchase and will offer adults the perfect weapon to reenact a childhood rubber bands battle, just slightly upgraded.
