In case you have grown sick of your old home theater system made of plastic and sounding like crap, no matter what would you happen to be playing, maybe it's time to take a step up and get your hands of real gear. And if you're looking for a new home cinema system that's easy to set up and performing awesome straight from the box, Energy speakers could be a very nifty choice, especially if you're on a budget and aren't that willing to spend the big bucks on audio gear.

[admark=1]The new home cinema system from Energy has been designed to respond exactly to these demands: high-quality as far as both sound and craftsmanship are concerned, easy installation and a nifty design. The Take Classic 5.1-channel speaker system has been developed with the heritage of the acclaimed Take 5 and it is expected to be as successful as its predecessor.

Finished in high-gloss black, the new Energy Take Classic system comprises a high-power subwoofer for intense and explosive acoustic performance, a center channel speaker for detailed in-movie dialogs and crisp vocal parts in your fav music tracks and 4 four satellites for the front and rear channels, with high dynamics and rich soundstaging capabilities.

The satellites of the Energy Take Classic run with rear-ported cabinets, loaded with 3" poly-titanium cones and 3/4" aluminium dome tweeters and all have keyhole slots for instant on-wall mounting as necessary and 5-way binding posts for a convenient setup; these satellites blast from 115Hz to 20kHz for a rich and lifelike sonic reproduction and can handle as much as 100W each. The center channel sports the same features, except for the bass reflex ports, two in this case, and with front-firing positioning, helping for a slightly lower bottom end at 110Hz.

The subwoofer is a 200W bass machine, with an 8" IM cone and patented ribbed elliptical surround for longer excursion and higher efficiency; this unit can offer a 33Hz bottom end and an 150Hz upper shelf cutoff point for enhanced LF representation with music and movies alike. The subwoofer comes with a 40-150Hz crossover and 0-180 degrees phase switch.

The new Energy Take Classic 5.1 system retails for under $600 and has already started shipping.
