Another iconic group is about to bite the dust: Mick Jagger is still feuding with Keith Richards over the claims and revelations made in the latter’s autobiography, and, as such, Mick is moving on from the Rolling Stones by starting another band, it has emerged.

The news broke in the New York Post, with sources close to the rocker saying that he’s already picked the members of his new band and they have been working on music together.

While Jagger has had other projects before, this is the first time he gets himself a new group, which could be seen as the closest indication that he’s done with the Stones.

Word online has it that Jagger is fuming at Keith Richards and the things he put in his book “Life”: this is his way of getting back at him.

He’s already signed Dave Stewart from Eurythmics, Joss Stone, Damian Marley and Oscar-winning A.R. Rahman up for the new band, and they’re getting ready for their first official release.

“They just finished a record and their first video and are talking to major labels about a deal. The name for the band at the moment is Super Heavy,” a source tells the Post.

“Each member has a very distinct and different style, but it works. Mick has been recording with Dave for a while, and both worked with Joss in the past,” adds another spy.

As rumors of the end of the Rolling Stones are taking over the Internet, a rep for Jagger is doing his best to downplay the situation, saying this is not as much as a split as it’s Jagger’s way of finding new ways to express himself artistically.

That he’s started a new band doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s done with the old one, he says, without denying that Jagger is thinking of leaving the Stones.

“They all thought it would be interesting and great fun to go into the studio and play some music. No video has been shot, no label in place. All a bit premature,” says the rep in a statement for the Post.
