14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at ZeniMax Online and publisher Bethesda are announcing that they are aiming to introduce a number of changes to how provisioning works in The Elder Scrolls Online in the sixth major patch for the MMO.
The official announcement says that the team is aiming to make the players’ job easier by reducing the number of ingredients used in the process, adding more recipes to try out, improving the usefulness of various products, and making the user interface more useful than before.
In The Elder Scrolls Online, a provisioner aims to create both food and drink which can be used to increase health, magicka, stamina and to boost regeneration for all three attributes.
Basic ingredients are easy to obtain from the world of the game and they can be modified using a range of additives.
ZeniMax Online states, "There are seven kinds of additives for food and seven for drinks. There are two rare additives, as well, one for food and one for drinks. These are quite difficult to find, but now and again your resourceful provisioning hireling might turn them up. There’s a chance you’ll obtain these elusive additives as a reward from Crafting Writs, as well."
Recipes are important in The Elder Scrolls Online
All the ingredients a provision specialist can gather are useless without some good recipes and those can be acquired by exploring the world and interacting with it.
With update 6 for The Elder Scrolls Online, gamers will get a range of changes that can be fully explored by clicking on the button at the end of this article.

Recent rumors have been talking about a possible free-to-play future for The Elder Scrolls Online, with the switch set to take place at some point in 2015.
Bethesda has also said that it plans to take its fantasy series to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, but the game’s launch for the consoles has been delayed a few times already and the project has probably met some major difficulties.
