Swiftech announced the launch of a new liquid cooling device named H20-120, a versatile and very easy to install water cooling kit that has just two composing elements, as opposed to traditional cooling solutions that come in sets of four. The innovation is in the "self-powered CPU waterblock, the recently released Apogee Drive 350" and the "new 120mm radiator featuring an integrated reservoir".

Unlike the conventional water cooling kits that are composed of a waterblock, a pump, a heat exchanger, and a reservoir and various other pipes and adapters, the Swiftech H20-120 Compact liquid cooling kit has only two components that integrate the waterblock and the pump into a single unit as well as the radiator that comes with an integrated water reservoir.

"The H20-120 Compact is the first of a new generation of liquid cooling solutions that brings true enthusiast performance to the industrial level; further declinations of the kit should also be available soon, starting with a dual radiator version expected by the end of August" said Gabriel Rouchon Swiftech's Chairman & CTA. According to the company's press release concerning this product the two-component liquid cooling device features improved reliability, reduced cost and easy of installation.

The H20-120 Compac is compatible with both Intel and AMD processors, ATI and Nvidia graphics cards and can be mounted on most chipsets too. Because of its small form factor, the cooling device can be easily installed in just about any computer case that features a back 120mm cooling fan. As the unit comes with a spare power adapter that can switch from 12V to 7V, the noise level and the power of the water pump can be adjusted for different running settings from the whisper quiet needed for multimedia to the high efficiency mode needed by serious overclockers.
