If you are a real time strategy game fan and you also dig free titles (now, let's be honest - who doesn't?) you will be really happy to find out that the free MMORTS Dreamlords: The Reawakening has been released to the public! The game is available for download from the official website.

Developed by Swedish company Lockpick Entertainment, this game is a sequel to the first Dreamlords and not an expansion - as it usually happens in the MMO world. It comes with improved visuals, better and more complex gaming experience and the promise that people who decide not to use in-game micro transactions will not be blown apart after the first few minutes (we know that, usually, "Free to play" means "use our micro-transactions or you're toasted"). Hopefully, this promise will prove to be true.

Back to Dreamlords: The Reawakening - it is set in a ravaged world where each player controls a Dreamlord, a celestial warlord, in a quest to restore order and peace by the means of war, of course. Basically a combination between the RPG and RTS genre, the game features an improved user interface with a client-based 3D Patria, some simplified rules (without ruining the game's complexity, the developers promise) and greater customization options such as different upgrades, items and gears that will boost your Dreamlord.

So, if you want to give the game a try, you can visit the official website and join the thousands of players already on it, after they were also part of the alpha and beta tests.

Dreamlords: The Reawakening is called by the developers a "MMORTS as it should be" and that should be a reason strong enough to make everybody at least a bit curious, right? And since it is free, you really have nothing to lose!
