The Digital Blue QX5 microscope offers an easy way to satisfy your curiosity regarding the world around you. The new microscope represents a practical and convenient way, at just 80 USD price, to discover the small things that live around you, on your desk or even in your refrigerator.

Digital Blue QX5 connects to a computer using an USB connection. The software application that comes bundled with the new digital microscope allows users to enlarge objects up to 200 times, watching them on the computer's screen. Also, you can take photos or short films, with a 15 fps (frames per second). Images can be manipulated afterwards with the help of different graphic editing programs.

The pack of Digital Blue QX5 includes the microscope, a USB cable, a stand, specimen jars, sample slide, tweezers, eye dropper, slide clip and software CD. The microscope can be detached from its stand, allowing users to take "a closer look" at large objects.

Digital Blue QX5 has a very strong LED (Light Emitting Diode) illumination that offers a better visibility of the watched object, both from the upper side and the lower side. The resolution of the captured images is of 640 X 480 pixels (VGA), resulting detailed images at an acceptable quality level. In comparison with its predecessor, QX3, Digital Blue QX5 offers for the small movies three times the frame rates per second, meaning 15 fps.

The software application that comes with Digital Blue QX5 can display on the PC's screen objects magnified 10 times, 60 times or 200 times. Also, measuring tools are built in the software application. The images captured with Digital Blue QX5 can be modified, applied after effects or they can be sent by email directly through the program.

Digital Blue QX5 is ideal for those who want to discover the micro universe around them and in the same time don't want to spend a lot of money on their hobby, but also for the primary school students.
