As big as a credit card

Here's another concept phone for you. The creator is BloodRabbit and, according to him, he came up with the idea while driving home from work.

The cellphone comes with a completely (or partially) see-through body and a basic LCD display. It is supposed to have the same size as a credit card.

Well, while it might look good for some (and some will definitely think it's ugly), chances of such a mobile phone ever getting manufactured, or at least in the next couple of years, are pretty slim.

It basically looks like a piece of glass or transparent plastic with some pieces of metal stuck on and the numbers drawn on the side. The nice part of the idea is that the phone would be incredibly slim (maybe even slimmer than the phones Samsung is coming up with) and it has a somewhat interesting design.

The problem would be how the electronics, battery or a possible camera would fit in. But maybe in the future this will be possible. Samsung is already making some important steps in that direction, by developing very slim displays for mobile phones as well as the slimmest mobile phones in the world.

The top of the question mark-shaped metal 'tube' is supposed to be the menu button and directional keys. However, the designer hasn't though of how it will actually make that thing work, so far. As the designer himself says, 'by current technology this is an impossible phone', but in the future, maybe we'll get to see such a device.

Since it will not really pack a great deal of features, and design-wise it is nice (but we've seen better), even if it were to become reality, most people wouldn't consider buying it. Also, at a first look, the mobile phone looks pretty fragile and easily breakable if you were to drop it.
