14 DAY TRIAL // Ubisoft has just announced that the next major patch for The Crew will be released on February 12. The Crew is also supposed to receive the next DLC included in the Season Pass, which will bring new cars and customization options into the mix.
The French publisher confirmed last year that the second DLC delivered for free to Season Pass owners will arrive sometime in February. The Speed Car Pack will add several sports cars finely tuned for speed racing, official paint jobs and rims for each car, as well as exclusive stickers.
The next patch, however, will brings a brand new PvP mode in the form of an elimination race with 10 new tracks available. In addition, Ubisoft confirmed that the same patch will also add four new faction missions.
This is the only content to be included in the upcoming The Crew update, but there will be some other changes added, such as fixes and improvements.
When it comes to improvements, the update is meant to enhance the quick co-op feature, as well as fix several bugs related to joining sessions.
The patch will be released for all platforms
PvP lobby improvements and the option to browse players after selecting cars will be implemented as well, along with some PvP session improvements such as allowing players to find more players quicker during matchmaking.
The update will also fix an issue related to unlocking and tracking the progress of certain awards, along with an issue related to progression on challenges.
A Statistics-related issue that was causing to display incorrect data and/or simply reset the data will be addressed too, along with a specific issue that would prevent previous data from being restored and new statistics being lost.
The frame rate in cockpit view should be improved and some modifications will be applied to the friction on side barriers in order to avoid war-riding exploit.
Lots of other cars improvements and tweaking will be implemented in the patch, but you can check out the full changelog below.
