Definition of a unique, must-see event: one of UK's exclusive private banks organizes a week-long celebration of the British jewelry industry. It doesn't get more classy, more refined or creative than this - and if precious gems and stones are your passion, pack up a suitcase, rob a bank and board a flight to London anywhere between the 11th and 15th of June - that is, starting today and ending on Sunday. You will have the unique chance to participate in a true celebration of London's status as home to world-class jewelry design, watch catwalk shows, take part in auctions and attend workshops displaying the remarkable skills of some of the best in the business.

The Coutts London Jewelery Week is organized by the City Fringe Partnership, with funding from the London Development Agency and sponsored by Coutts, and aims to "offer a journey of discovery, from emerging talent to behind the scenes glimpses of some of the world's finest designers. From Bond Street in the west to Green Street in the east, Hatton Garden in the north to Knightsbridge in the south, the Week will be a capital-wide spectacle of style and inspiration", the organizers proclaim on their website. What jewelry lover can resist such a tempting invitation?

The event aims to attract visitors from around the world and its divers schedule includes everything from catwalk shows, parties, collection launches, exhibitions and open houses to educational seminars, treasure hunts, and of course, sales and auctions. Young, up and coming designers will display their latest creations side by side with internationally recognized brands and you'll be able to find whatever jewelry style you favor, from antique to contemporary, using either precious or semi-precious stones. So if jewelry is your thing, pack a bag and come to London for the weekend - you'll definitely not regret it.
