14 DAY TRIAL // Designer Li Huan has come up with a very innovative concept washing machine that would make it possible for people to do the laundry and exercise at the same time.
Li Huan's concept appliance, pictured above, basically consists of a regular washing machine and a bicycle all rolled into one. Thus, while your average Joe or Jane is busy pedaling, the front-loader keeps rotating.
This means that, the harder and faster one pedals, the cleaner one's clothes get and the less time it takes to finish a load, Trend Hunter explains.
The best thing about the Bike Washing Machine, as designer Li Huan has named this concept appliance, is that it is entirely human-powered.
Since it does not need any electricity to keep up and running – on the contrary, all it needs is a little determination on behalf of its owner – there is no doubt that it is also quite environmentally friendly.
Besides, I dare say that folks could even install it on their front lawn and do the laundry while admiring the landscape.
