It seems that, as the year 2008 comes with rapid steps to its end, rumors are that Samsung is working on a new 8 megapixel camera phone codenamed Bresson, apparently after the French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson. Quite a good codename for a phone with this kind of camera bliss, isn't it? Samsung M8800 could mean a very short lifespan for the newly launched Innov8 especially since the few features that are known about it make it very appealing.

So, let's see what we found out about the mysterious Bresson. It will have a large 3.2'' display that will give you 16 million colors and a full touchscreen that seems to be effortless to use and very responsive. Another cool feature is the support of full HDTV. No matter what type of entertaining you require, Samsung M8800 has it all: movies, pictures, games, and music, all will be delivered through a new collection of hardware and software advancements.

The thickness of the handset is 15.5 mm, which makes it even slimmer than the Innov8, which measures 17.2mm. The touchscreen phone also includes other goodies, such as: improved office applications, GPS mapping and high speed downloads through HSDPA along with quad-band compatibility.

It seems that Samsung really wants to give the best it has with this one. You get an 8 megapixel camera phone, slimmer than anything on the market, packed with multimedia and office functions, so that it's sure that you will never get bored with it, since you can do about anything you can think of due to its high-end functionality.

I can already think about the pictures taken with this one. Unfortunately, there is no official release date and no price cost has been disclosed yet, but the phone has been tagged as 'Coming soon' on various websites that are selling handsets.
