New film about father-son bond is already being panned by movie buffs

Adam Sandler isn't about to let such a small thing as a record-breaking 11 nominations at the Razzies 2012 stop him from making comedies. His “That's My Boy” just got a brand new, green band trailer.

The film stars Sandler as a never-do-good absentee father who remembers his son just when his life takes a turn for the worse and he's about to go to prison on tax evasion charges.

He reconnects with his son, Andy Samberg, only days before his wedding to an uptown and rather uptight girl played by Leighton Meester.

As you can see, the timing couldn't have been worse.

The new trailer, which eliminates completely all cuss words, hints at a very predictable and very unpredictably unfunny comedy.

This, movie buffs are saying online, is precisely the reason why Sandler is losing ground with critics and fans: it's as if he stopped caring about the projects his name comes attached to.

Check out the trailer and see for yourself whether there's any reason to say these things. “That's My Boy” will be out in the US on June 15.
