A woman has fallen from a ride at Six Flags Over Texas amusement park on Friday, losing her life.

"We are deeply saddened about a death this evening on the Texas Giant. Our prayers are with the family and friends," the Arlington amusement park reps stated on Twitter.

While there is no confirmation about the manner in which she became loose, witnesses have reported issues with her safety restraints.

The incident took place before 6:30 p.m. when the rides were supposed to be closed, but were still running.

Dallas News relayed eyewitness comments from the scene. Carmen Brown of Arlington, who was in line for a ticket when the woman was being secured, recalled her complaining about the restraints.

"He was basically nonchalant. [...] He was, like, 'As long as you heard it click, you’re fine.' Hers was the only one that went down once, and she didn’t feel safe. But they let her still get on the ride," Brown described.

She was riding the Texas Giant roller coaster when the safety belt came undone and, almost immediately after embarking on the ride, she fell.

"Right when they came down off the first bump and hit that first turn, she flew out," Nadine Kelley, another visitor waiting in line tells NBC News.

She also detailed that the woman was there with her husband and children who were "hysterical."

"They were saying that their mother flew out of the car.

"It was sad. It was very sad. [...] We kept telling them to let them out because they were hysterical. The daughter and the son said, 'We have to go get my mom. We have to go get my mom.' We were kind of in disbelief, and we just said a prayer for her," Kelley adds.
