Legal Radiation, a developer of applications and games for various platforms, just announced the released of its Flying Discs 1.0 game for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. The addictive game challenges players' reflexes in a fast paced arcade game, that makes other games seem slow and dull

The game also includes a kids' version, and developers are also offering a money contest with four prizes:

$400 for the player with the highest score on normal mode as of November 15th 2010 12:00EST;

$300 for the first player to finish the game on hard mode;

$200 For the first player to complete 5 of each combo type within one game of normal or hard mode (3 red, 3 orange, white / orange / red & 0 in a row);

$100 for the first player to surpass 75.000 points on normal mode.

It seems that Apple isn't the sponsor of the promotion of the cash prize contest, instead this comes directly from Legal Radiation.

In Flying Discs players will develop their reflexes and think fast by hitting appropriately colored discs while avoiding harmful ones; creating combos; gauging time, distance and path of certain discs; completing timed, difficult challenges.

The key features offered by the game include: Extremely addictive; Smooth, fluid animation with eye-popping full screen visuals guaranteed to work on virtually any device; Unique, mind and reflex sharpening gameplay; Simple and intuitive touch controls; Extreme challenges requiring strategy to win; Standard play offers three levels of difficulty to choose from; OpenFeint for leaderboards and achievements; A preschool version for ages 4 to enjoy is included; Tutorial included.

The game requires and iPhone, iPod touch or iPad device, running OS 2.2.1 or later, and about 13.3 MB storage space.
