Race to get them

Test Drive is one of the longest running gaming franchises in the world or racing games and one of the most successful. The series has 15 games released and has proved to be a great racing simulator on both the Xbox 360 gaming consoles and on the PC.

The one thing that the PC version of the latest game, Test Drive Unlimited, was missing was the extra content that Atari has offered to the Xbox owners of the game through downloadable content. Now all the content from the Xbox DLC is bundled in one hot PC package. The Magapack, as it has been dubbed by Atari, is priced at 15 Euro and adds a whole bunch of new cars to the game.

David Nadal, who is the boss of Eden Games the developers of Test Drive Unlimited, said: "We're very pleased to now be able to bring these fantastic vehicles to players of the PC version of Test Drive Unlimited and we really want to thank the PC community for their patience".

In Test Drive Unlimited the player is able to drive both on-road and off-road, challenging any real life racers they encounter to various types of races. The game takes place in an environment modeled after the Hawaiian island of Oahu.

You can race in the rain forests and mountains or on the sandy beaches and in Hawaii's capital city, Honolulu. The developers claim that the game offers a perfectly accurate simulation of Oahu, but a bunch of landmarks are missing in the game. It doesn't make too much of a difference in a game where speed and skill take precedence over beautiful and accurate buildings.

The Xbox 360 version has supported steering wheel controllers since launch. Following the third free update, Test Drive Unlimited supports force feedback wheel controllers such as Microsoft's Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel.
