14 DAY TRIAL // Tesoro has decided to live up to its name and release a product that could easily be considered a “treasure.” Called Kuven Pro (actually Kυνέη.pro, since it's spelled in Greek), the headset allows you to individually customize all five channels.
You see, the Kuven Pro boasts a different channel for Voice, Front, Rear, Center, and Subwoofer, each of which you can customize by means of the in-line control. In fact, even that in-line control module can be removed if you want to.
Moreover, you can even turn the Kuven Pro into a 7.1 channel surround sound audio device, although only through virtual software emulation.
Made all the more amazing when you take into account the fact that, physically, only four actual “speakers” exist in each ear cup: one center speaker, one front speaker, one rear speaker, and one subwoofer.
The Tesoro Kuven Pro audio headset will ship at the end of the month (August 2014) for $109 / €81.49, complete with purple LED illumination on the laser-cut Tesoro face (located on the aluminum plates of the outer ear cups) and in-line control.
Finally, the new headphones can be folded inward, making them easy to transport to LAN parties or wherever else.
