Supermarket behemoth Tesco has officially announced its own branded tablet a week ago, and now the slate has made it to retail shelves across UK.

Interested shoppers can now pick up their slates from 1,000 Tesco supermarkets all over the country. For those who don’t wish to actually go to a store to purchase it, the option of ordering it online from the official Tesco website is also available.

The Hudl slate is available in four different attractive colors – black, blue, purple or red and comes with a 7-inch HD screen with 1440 x 900 pixel resolution and a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. 16GB of storage are also provided.

Hudl is of course bundled up with all kinds of Tesco-related software like a native online grocery shopping app which also provides the ability to make grocery lists. Tesco fans can stream on-demand video content via the Blinkbox streaming service.

Customers can grab their Hudl at the price of £119 / $193 / €142 but if they have a Tesco Clubcard loyalty voucher the price goes down to £60 / $98 / €72.
