The good news is the toddler sleeping in it does not mind staring down the throat of a scary-looking shark

More often than not, parents choose the absolute cutest cribs for their kids. However, it sometimes happens that toddlers are put to sleep in downright terrifying beds.

But don't take our word for granted. Just check out the photos accompanying this article to see for yourselves. Yes, that is a real baby, and yes, that is a crib made to look like a shark gobbling up a boat.

Apparently, the crib was designed and made for 2-month-old Michael Joseph Melaccio by his uncle, Joseph Reginella, who, in case you haven't figured it out by now, is a huge fan of the movie “Jaws.”

Photos showing the toddler napping or simply relaxing after a hard day's crying in his shark-shaped crib were shared with the online community by his father, named Mark Melaccio, just a few days ago.

The photos have since gone viral, and if we're going to be honest here, we have to admit that they are well worthy of all the attention they are getting these days.

By the looks of it, the boy's father helped uncle Joseph Reginella make this crib for Michael. “I've been waiting to put this kid in here for months,” the man wrote in a message on Facebook.
