A mobile TV tuner

The new TV tuner completing TerraTec's Cinergy series is specifically designed for laptop users or others requiring an external tuner with small dimensions.

Not bigger than pack of cigarettes and with a weight of only 130 grams, Cinergy USB 400 is connected through the USB port which also achieves the power supplying. In this way, the only thing required by the user to watch TV programs on the computer is the signal supplied by an antenna or cable.

Having S-VHS and Composite jacks, TerraTec Cinergy 400 USB can also receive video recorder, DVD player or video camera signal.

The equipment is delivered together with all software solutions required to edit, compress and store movies on CD or DVD. Regarding compression, TerraTec Cinergy is compatible to all video codecs which makes him an interesting alternative for those who own a video camera and want to store the recorded movies on the hard disk or optical media.

Cinergy 400 can be programmed to record favorite programs, includes time shifting option and has teletext. The TV tuner is delivered together with a remote; the sensor for this remote is placed on the superior side of the equipment.

The minimum requirements a PC has to fulfill in order for the Cinergy USB 400 to work are: 1 GHz CPU and 256 MB RAM.

TerraTec Cinergy USB 400 will be available from this month and will have a price of 129 euros.
