14 DAY TRIAL // In a bid to make rumors go away, “Desperate Housewives” star Teri Hatcher has revealed pictures of herself at home, thus confirming that she is Botox-free.
Coming to show that all the stories about her in the media are not true and to help women all over the world see themselves in the right light, Teri has decided to allow cameras into her home - on Facebook.
Fresh out of the bath and getting ready to bed, Teri is seen in the most recent set of pics in all her bare-faced, makeup-free glory – and the reaction to her bold gesture has been nothing short of astounding.
In the comments to the photos, the actress explains she’s not doing this to show off but to prove that rumors about her getting surgery and Botox to maintain her youthful appearance are simply not true.
At the same time, she also has the courage to admit that she’s had Botox and fillers before. For the time being, though, she’s decided to give this growing old gracefully thing a good earnest try.
“Thought about all those damn critics of my face. Love it or hate it, my face that is, [it’s] no surgery, no implants… no matter what ‘they’ say. Decided I’d shoot myself in to reveal some truths about ‘beauty’ and hope it makes you all easier on yourself,” Teri says.
Perhaps aware of the impact her words will have on millions of people around the world who look up to her, Teri doesn’t shy from the truth: though she’s all au naturelle now, she did once gave Botox a go.
“Did I [ever] toy with fillers or Botox over the years? Yes. Tell me does this look Botoxed to you? Yes I am alone in my bathroom naked in a towel on behalf of women everywhere trying to make a point. Women YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL,” the actress says.
To better drive the point home, namely that her face is not the face of a Botoxed woman, Teri frowns and smiles at the camera in all possible ways, to prove that she’s not lacking facial expression.
As also noted above, reaction to Hatcher’s gesture has been astounding, with many saying she deserves nothing but praise for being so straightforward about an unspoken practice in the industry.
At the same time, not few were those who couldn’t help from congratulating the actress for being such a natural stunner. Teri Hatcher is 45 years old but her face could easily be that of a 30something woman.
