They corrected the line the next day, after it was seen by hundreds of people

The hilarious scenario seen above is the work of a road painting crew in Tennessee. The incident has prompted an uproar on Facebook. 

The photo above was captured in Memphis, where road painters are being blasted for “sheer laziness.” They have painted above a pile of leaves to create a street line.

According to the Mirror, City Engineer John Cameron argues that the painting has been done in line with the city policy.

They paint the streets within three-year cycles, and they have a lot of miles to cover. They operate using three trucks, one of which is larger.

They use it to go over specific areas all at once, then use the smaller vehicles to go over problem areas. They repainted this specific line the next day.
