Real-time vulnerability management solutions provider Tenable Network Security has launched SecurityCenter 4.7. The latest release of the product introduces a security “app store” that allows customers to download special applications developed by Tenable researchers.

The hundreds of apps are designed to provide intelligence for identifying not only advanced threats and vulnerabilities, but also compliance violations.

SecurityCenter 4.7 provides organizations with advanced analytics that can be useful for various teams, including network, security, operations, and compliance.

The key features of SecurityCenter 4.7 include a simplified framework, remediation support, extended mobile device coverage, and support for SCAP 1.2.

“We provide customers with the only real-time vulnerability management platform with built-in scan, log, and network analysis technology to assess IT infrastructure risk,” noted Ron Gula, CEO of Tenable.

“With this release, we’re making SecurityCenter even more strategic for our customers by providing direct access to the latest security and compliance intelligence as identified by our world class researchers.”
