Telltale Games is a company primarily known for the development of the Sam & Max Episodes series. The guys working there seem to really dig episodic content, since they have two similar titles under development: Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People (recently delayed) and the just announced Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures. Yes, if you take a closer look at their titles, you realize that they also love long ones.

Back to the new adventure game they have under development: you should know that it is based on Aardman Animations' Wallace & Gromit franchise and the adventure title will combine the "rich and innovative storytelling" the series is known for with the fun gameplay everybody is acquainted with from the Sam & Max games. You will be able to control both of them and explore vivid worlds, interact with fun characters and eventually get the fantastic duo out of the sticky situation they will be in.

"Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures extends our vision for delivering new kinds of entertainment to everyone who enjoys a good story," says Telltale's CEO and co-founder Dan Connors. "Wallace & Gromit has a long history of entertaining people of all ages, and the world Aardman has created is rich in humor and storytelling possibilities. Our team has been enjoying the process of adapting this series for new audiences, and we look forward to reintroducing it to long-time fans in the episodic format that Telltale has been innovating."

For the fans of the series, the good news doesn't end here: the computer game will be followed by a TV return of the characters, with an all-new Aardman short release entitled "A Matter of Loaf and Death". DVDs in a "Best of" format are also in the pipeline. So, it seems that we're going to have a lot of fun this fall thanks to Telltale and Aardman.
