A 19-year-old disabled boy born without legs has reeled in a 250-pound (113-kg) lemon shark in Florida, reports say.

Florida Forest Service firefighter Ed Parrish aided Matt Sechrist of Clay County in firmly grabbing the 8-foot (2.5-meter) monster shark on Tuesday.

His father was also there to help pull the fish to shore. When the lemon shark bit, he pulled the breaks on his wheelchair and his family and friends helped bring the giant to shore.

According to The St. Augustine Record, Sechrist, who is missing both legs, was able to make the catch by means of rods supported by pin reels. The rods were set up on the Vilano Beach.

“That’s a special moment that I can use. Just one more thing on the resume of things that I’ve done,” Sechrist recalls.
