14 DAY TRIAL // Activision has officially confirmed and detailed its next project, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, a third-person brawler that's in development at Red Fly Studio and scheduled to appear on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been the focus of quite a few games over the years but none of them has actually impressed and honored the legacy of the famous turtles.
Activision is hoping to do things right with its new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows game, which is now in development at Red Fly Studio and is based on the current Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series from Nickelodeon.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is a third-person brawler game set in New York City, taking gamers through articulated, true-to-life environments filled with action-packed adventures as Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael. Featuring an original hyper-realistic 3D-style, gamers can experience four-player online co-op play while stomping out the Foot Clan and unleashing turtle torment on any foe that gets in their way."
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will also include "an immersive world, deep character development, and an intuitive, skill-based combat system built around combo-driven action," according to the company.
The new game is being developed by Red Fly Studio, which previously worked on other licensed projects, like Thor: God of Thunder, Ghostbusters, and different mobile games.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be released as a digital download on the PC, via Steam, the PlayStation 3, via the PlayStation Network, and the Xbox 360, via the Xbox Live Marketplace.
No other details are known but you can admire four screenshots from the new game below, depicting the four famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
