A teenager with Down Syndrome studying at Wisconsin’s Little Chute High School has been allowed to participate in a football match, scoring his first touchdown.

18-year-old Noah Van Vooren is the water boy for the high school football team, and the members find him inspirational.

"He'll pat you on the back, say, 'You're doing a great job,'" one of them says.

According to Inquisitr, they decided to do something for him this Friday night. He was given a jersey and allowed on the field.

He sported number 14 and played as running back, and he was helped to score. The quarterback gave him the football and the entire team flanked him to help him score.

Their opponents were in on it and they stepped aside to allow him the touchdown. After a 35-yard (32-meter) run, he "made a touchdown," as he puts it.
