14 DAY TRIAL // Demi Lovato brought the house down at last night’s Teen Choice Awards 2014, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and airing live on Fox, but she did it with a little help from her good friend Cher Lloyd.
The duo took to the stage to perform “Really Don’t Care,” and as you can see in the video below, their fans totally loved every minute of it, dancing and singing along with them.
That wasn’t Demi’s only big moment of the night though: later in the evening, she went up on stage to collect her surfboard for winning the Choice Summer Song and the Choice Summer Music Star awards.
For the performance, Demi opted for a rock chic outfit in black, with black jeggings, black bustier, a black leather jacket, and lots of flashy Moschino accessories, which went perfectly with the new punk-style ‘do she debuted on social media a short while ago.
Meanwhile, Cher wore sparkly pants and a cropped top that showed off her toned midriff, and sneakers.
The Teen Choice Awards are perhaps the most indicative of the taste of an entire generation, as it’s aimed at teens who get to vote online for their favorites in television, music, film, fashion, and even sports. This year, even outstanding activity on social media was honored with a surfboard “statuette.”
