Team Fortress 2 managed to stir quite the commotion when its teaser trailers started to be released. The “Meet the Cast” series revealed the game to be a hilarious interpretation of the classic TF of the original Half Life. The title is an online first-person shooter based on a class system that contains nine members, each one having its own special abilities and individual arsenal, consisted of a primary weapon, a sidearm and a melee weapon that matches the class' personality and characteristic. The cast of game is made up of the Pyro, Engineer, Spy, Heavy, Sniper, Scout, Soldier, Demoman, Medic and, appearing as a guest star, the Sandwich.

The guys behind Team Fortress 2 missed no opportunity to bring new things to the game and make it endlessly more fun. So, this Halloween, Valve has got something special cooking for TF2 fans. The "Haunted Hallowe'en Special" has just started and is bound to make gamers happy. The celebration will last until November 2 and will bring enough content to match the holiday spirit. A new map has been added to the King-of-the-Hill mode. Harvest, as it's been entitled, will have some very individual gameplay features.

The first one is that the map is haunted by the "restless spirit of Zepheniah Mann" and the poltergeist will do more than just scare the hell out of players. Those who come across it will be stunned by the undead apparition and will become easy prey. The map will also have exploding pumpkins scattered all over, which promise to do some serious amount of damage to nearby players. The update also promises to make "the mangled corpses of the recently deceased" curse the living with candy, whatever that means. Maybe the game will tackle the rising problem of obesity.

As a last addition, Team Fortress 2 will feature five new achievements, specially designed for the "Haunted Hallowe'en Special." These are Candy Coroner, Scared Stiff, Ghastly Gibus Grab, Costume Contest, and Attack o' Lantern, and it doesn't matter that Valve hasn't given them an official description, because that's what unofficial sources are for. According to 1up user Natedogg1, the matching description to the achievements is as follows:

Candy Coroner - Collect 20 Halloween pumpkins from dead players to unlock a hat. Ghastly Gibus Grab - Dominate a player wearing the Ghastly Gibus to earn your own. Scared Stiff - Kill a player scared by the ghost haunting KOTH Harvest. Attack o' Lantern - Cause the deaths of 5 players by exploding nearby pumpkin bombs. Costume Contest - Kill a Spy disguised as your current class.

So get out there and find out for yourselves by earning these achievements on your own.
