The rest of their hackers have deleted their Twitter profiles

Ever since the phone bomb attack TeaMp0isoN launched on the UK’s MI6 counter-terrorism organization, law enforcement representatives became determined to apprehend the culprits. Reports reveal that authorities have managed to arrest another member of the crew, MLT.

On April 12, they arrested the group’s leader, TriCk, who was released on bail, but was banned from accessing computing devices.

Now, according to The Telegraph, Scotland Yard has arrested MLT, who they name as the spokesperson of the group.

The 17-year-old was arrested on Wednesday evening in Newcastle, as part of an investigation conducted by the Metropolitan Police’s Central e-Crime Unit.

When TriCk was arrested, the other members of the group stated that they would continue their operations and they kept that promise. On May 4, they breached the websites of Panasonic, the United Nations and the Australian Government.

“TeaMp0isoN is here with another release! Here we present to you some nice delicious data of the Australian Government (australia.gov.au) dumped data,” they wrote at the time.

They also promised an operation called Op Retaliation, that was supposedly meant as revenge against the first arrest. However, so far, nothing has materialized.

If, after TriCk’s apprehension, the other members of TeaMp0isoN seemed determined to carry on their hacking activities, after MLT’s arrest they went silent. Their Twitter profiles have been deleted and there’s no movement on the crew’s new account either.

So, is this the end of TeaMp0isoN? Have they found their match, or are the hackers cooking something as we speak? We’ll probably find out soon enough.

However, the large number of arrests that have occurred lately make us wonder. Have authorities improved their skills and their techniques when it comes to the identification of hackers, or did the hackers become more sloppy and leave a clear trail?
