With straight hair and long bangs, the country singer managed to get the attention of both the media and the fans with what was supposed to be a change towards a more mature and sophisticated look.
As it turns out, word on the Internet has it that this was far from the case, as Evil Beet Gossip also puts it. For all we know until now, Taylor was perhaps only having some fun, trying to see how she’d look with straight hair but not yet willing to make this big step of going for something so strikingly different. Her recent appearance at Z100’s Jingle Ball would seem to confirm that.

As many of you correctly surmised, the straight look she was spotted in recently was just a wig,” Evil Beet says. That the straight ‘do was wig is also confirmed by the fact that it was much lighter than Taylor’s hair, namely the curls she donned at the recent public event.
However, if the reaction to her new hairstyle is any indication – and is worth anything, for that matter – should Taylor ever consider taking that step, she should not fear she might alienate her fans. In fact, the consensus seems to be that she looks much better with straight hair and bangs because it makes her infinitely much classier and stylish, as opposed to how innocent and sweet she comes across with ringlets.
