Taylor Swift and Model Karlie Kloss Caught Kissing at NYC Concert

Taylor Swift used to be a serial dater but after One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles broke her heart at the beginning of 2013, she stopped going after famous guys. In fact, as per her own words, she stopped going after guys altogether, deciding it was time for a break from them, for a time when she’d focus on herself and her girlfriends.

The other reason she stopped going after guys, apparently, is because she’s found just what she was looking for in the arms of a girl – model Karlie Kloss, more precisely, who also happens to be her BFF (that’s Best Friend Forever in Internet-speak) for some months now.

Taylor and Karlie got caught kissing

Taylor and Karlie have been spending a lot of time together in recent months, getting closer when the singer decided to leave LA for NY for a while. They’ve been seen out and about a lot together, sometimes even holding hands but no one made too much fuss about it until just now, when the seed of doubt as to the nature of their relationship has been planted.

Until now, everyone assumed they were just very close friends who liked to do a lot, from going to the gym to attending fashion shows and concerts, together.

The other night, the two went to a concert of the indie band The 1975, and as you can see in the photo below, at one point, their faces got really, really close.

It wasn’t just that that made people jump to the conclusion that they shared a very passionate kiss: Karlie’s arms seem to encircle Taylor, which wouldn’t happen if they were just talking into each other’s ear, as it usually happens in such venues, where the music is really loud.

Rep denies any romantic involvement

Word that Taylor and Kloss were now an item spread like wildfire online, as was to be expected. Neither has said anything on the topic yet, but sources close to Taylor insist that there really isn’t anything romantic happening.

Friends claim that Taylor is straight and Karlie is faithful to her boyfriend, and that all the world got to see in those blurry shots was a gesture most people do when they’re at a concert or in a club: they get really close so they can hear each other over the music.

Useless to say, the Internet isn’t buying the explanation or, better yet, is refusing to do so.

Famous lesbian romances

If Taylor and Karlie did end up dating eventually, they wouldn’t be the first famous lesbian couple, though they would definitely make one of the most attractive.

Famous romances include talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and actress Portia De Rossi (who are actually married), actress Michelle Rodriguez and model Cara Delevingne, and Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.

At the time Lindsay was dating Samantha and trying to keep it from the media, she too got busted by kissing her on a yacht, when she didn’t imagine anyone was taking her photo. Food for thought, you know.
