14 DAY TRIAL // Taylor Swift performed at Victoria’s Secret 2014 show in London this week, and while she might have still been holding a grudge against Angel Jessica Hart and got her booted from this edition, she is on good terms again with ex-boyfriend Harry Styles.
Reports in the British media claim that she and Harry, who broke her heart so badly she had to write several songs about it (allegedly), had cocktails backstage – and even offered clues that they’re on good terms again.
Considering the mean reputation Taylor had until some months ago, this could definitely be seen as a sign she’s growing up.
Harry steps into dangerous ex territory
Harry met a lot of exes at the VS show, believe it or not; being a part of the biggest boyband of the moment, One Direction, does come with this amazing perk that you get to swoon ladies off their feet. He attended the show like many other celebrities wanting to be part of a huge social thing but also eager to stare at gorgeous women in beautiful lingerie items – and with the money to buy the ticket.
Also there was Taylor, who was asked back to perform for the second year in a row, and Kendall Jenner, the reality star turned model whom Styles romanced for a few months right after breaking up with Taylor.
Model Cara Delevingne was present as well: Harry and Cara were romantically linked in the press a while back. Ironically, she is now one of Kendall’s best friends and rumor is starting to pick up that they might be a bit more than that: Cara is famously bi.
Harry and Taylor, together again
The two dated for just a few months at the end of 2012 but the relationship was very intense, at least on her part. In fact, it was so intense that her friends still fear whenever she is running the chance of meeting with him at a function of this kind.
They still have a lot of mutual friends (Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding among them) and they were terrified that Taylor might not be able to handle herself at the Victoria’s Secret show. Perhaps they were fearing a showdown or some kind of diva behavior, which would have at least implied doing her best side-eye.
Luckily, that didn’t turn out to be the case. Reports cited by The Mirror claim that Taylor and Harry actually had cocktails together, backstage after the show, and chatted for a while looking very friendly.
“But they were actually fine. It seemed like they’d buried the hatchet. The drinks were flowing until 3am, when they snuck out of a rear exit five minutes apart to avoid being pictured together,” one spy says.
A few weeks ago, rumor had it that Harry had earned his way back into Taylor’s heart by sending her 1,989 roses because her most recent album is called “1989.” With this fresh report of them enjoying cocktails at a Victoria’s Secret event, expect to hear reconciliation talk very soon.
