14 DAY TRIAL // Taylor Swift may have found love again. The singer, known for her rather tumultuous love life, was seen hugging it out with male model Patrick Schwarzenegger at the 4th of July celebrations.
As was to be expected, rumors about a new hot couple in showbiz immediately started making the rounds online.
“Has Taylor Swift found a new Romeo in Patrick Schwarzenegger – or are they just happy to be celebrating Independence Day?” People magazine asks.
“On the Fourth of July, the Grammy winner, 22, was spotted hugging Schwarzenegger – the son of Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger – after spending time with him and much of the Kennedy clan at the Kennedys's Cape Cod compound the day before,” the celebrity publication further reports.
“The two were also seen laughing and walking along the beach together,” adds the same media outlet.
TMZ too reports on how friendly the two seemed and even dares to suggest that odds are they're more than just good friends.
“We're told the two were also seen with several members of the Kennedy family. Unclear if the two are officially dating – but Taylor seems to have a thing for famous dudes... she's been romantically linked to John Mayer, Joe Jonas and Jake Gyllenhaal,” the e-zine writes.
Unlike Mayer and Gyllenhaal though, Patrick is actually younger than Taylor: at 18, he's 4 years her junior.
Perhaps that's the secret to making it work this time, her fans must be thinking, especially considering how those two relationships ended.
Gyllenhaal reportedly broke up with her over the phone, leaving her depressed and brokenhearted for months, while Mayer only played her, as she said on the song she wrote about him.
Speaking of which, Mayer recently spoke about the track (not so subtly called “Dear John”) and said he had been “humiliated” by it because Taylor chose to air their dirty laundry in public.
In a very scathing interview, he also criticized her for scooping so low as to sing about him, but also for not having the courtesy to inform him that she planned on putting such a song out.
She kicked him when he was at his lowest, he said, as we also reported at the time – and it wasn't cool of her to do so.
