Never make fun of Taylor Swift’s love life in public especially if you’re a woman or, as she says in her brand new interview with Vanity Fair, you’ll burn in hell. She’s referring to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who dared do just that at the Golden Globes 2013.

For a bit of context, we should note that this “feud” started in mid-January, when Tina and Amy hosted the Globes and, at one point during the evening, they joked about how Taylor wasn’t allowed to date Michael Fox’s son, now that she was single again.

Everybody seemed to appreciate the joke, but for Taylor.

Speaking with Vanity Fair, she says mean girls, like Tina and Amy, have a spot secured in hell precisely for public stunts like this one.

“You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people,” she says.

“Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women’,” Taylor adds.

As the Internet roared against the singer for picking on these two, who also happen to be among the most appreciated and accomplished female comediennes of recent years and, as such, have done more for women in showbiz than she could ever imagine, Amy responded to the diss.

And she kept it incredibly classy, as ever.

“Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl,” Amy says in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

“That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff,” she adds.

Tina Fey is yet to address Taylor’s comment but, now that Amy has put it so wonderfully – and in so little words, to boot – chances are she sees no reason to say anything more now.

[Update, March 6, 2013, later]: Tina has responded as well, telling Taylor, via ET, to lighten up.

“If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron. I did not see that one coming. It was a joke, it was a lighthearted joke,” she says.
