14 DAY TRIAL // Taylor Swift is now busy with her Red Tour but she’s still found the time to agree to do a cameo on the season 2 finale of “New Girl” on Fox, Entertainment Weekly has learned.
After having been name checked at least on a couple of occasions this season, Taylor will now make a cameo in the flesh but no, she will not be playing herself.
“Taylor Swift is guest-starring in the May 14 episode of the Fox comedy, EW has learned. The country pop star will play a character named Elaine, who is an ‘important guest’ at the wedding of Cece (Hannah Simone) and Shivrang (Satya Bhabha),” EW writes.
“Jamie Lee Curtis, Rob Reiner, Olivia Munn, Nick Kroll, Parker Posey, and Margo Martindale are among the other celebrities who have appeared on New Girl this season,” adds the same media outlet.
Though Swift’s resume already includes several cameos, including one in the star-studded but critically trashed “Valentine’s Day,” she’s never really said she planned to give acting a try which, if you ask me, is probably for the best.
