14 DAY TRIAL // Recent reports said that Taylor Swift and Harry Styles of One Direction had reconciled and that she was even in the market for a house in London, to be closer to him. As it turns out, she IS seeing a Brit but it’s not Harry, but Douglas Booth, who was most recently seen in “Romeo & Juliet.”
People magazine reports that the two were spotted on a romantic date at the Holly Bush in London last week, with insiders whispering that they might have actually been seeing each other for longer than that.
If that’s true, Taylor managed to do what before was deemed impossible: go out on a date with a man, embark on a romantic relationship with him and not have it play out in the media. Nay, this time, she actually managed to prevent the media from finding out about it until just now.
“They hired the back room and were in there alone. They looked very happy [and] were just smiling and laughing just like any other customers,” an insider says of Taylor’s most recent date with Douglas.
A photo of the actor is also attached to this article, just in case his name doesn’t ring a bell. You can tell he and Taylor would make a very good looking, Ken-and-Barbie type of couple.
“The duo possibly met through Swift's close friend Hailee Steinfeld, who starred opposite Booth, 21, in the latest installment of Shakespeare's classic love story about star-crossed lovers. Swift, 23, showed up at the Los Angeles premiere's after party in September, where she was seen getting flirty with Booth,” People writes.
The film came out in limited release on October 11 so, assuming any of this is true, Taylor and Douglas have probably been dating since then. In Taylor time, that’s enough for her to write a song about Douglas if things don’t work out.
